  • Please note that the bootloader has already been pre-flashed, no need to flash again

Enter programming mode

  • There are two ways to enter programming mode
  • First method: With the mainboard completely powered off, short-circuit BOOT and connect one end of a data transfer cable to the mainboard and the other end to your device
  • Second method: After connecting one end of a data transfer cable to the mainboard and the other end to your device, short-circuit BOOT, press the RST button, release the RST button, and finally disconnect the BOOT short-circuit jumper

Notes
  • USB3.0 may fail to program, please try to use the USB2.0 of the computer for programming
  • If it still cannot be programmed, please use the host software for programming
  • If the error below appears, please use a USB extension dock
  1. Programming tool Download address
  2. Need to download SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer and STM32 DFU driver
  3. Copy the compiled firmware (klipper.bin) or the pre-compiled Katapult firmware to any directory on the computer
  4. Use a Type-C data cable to connect the mainboard to the computer, please make sure that it has entered the dfu programming mode
  5. In STM32CubeProgrammer, select USB mode, refresh, and connect
  6. If no error pop-up appears, the connection is successful.

    If the content shown in the figure appears, it is a computer or software issue, please use the host software for programming:Host software programming tutorial

  7. Click the left download icon and select the following options
  8. Click the Browse indicated by the arrow, then select the firmware you need to program
  9. Select Start address and enter 0x08000000
    • Please note that if the firmware is in HEX format, please skip this step!!
  10. Click Start automatic mode at the bottom to start programming the firmware
  11. If the prompt below appears, it means the firmware programming is complete
