• Please note that the bootloader has already been pre-flashed at factory and does not need to be flashed again.

Enter programming mode

• There are two methods to enter programming mode.
• The first method: With the main board completely powered off, short the BOOT pin and then connect the data transfer cable with one end connected to the main board and the other end connected to your device.
• The second method: After connecting the data transfer cable with one end connected to the main board and the other end connected to your device, short the BOOT pin, press the RST button, release the RST button, and finally disconnect the BOOT jumper.

Windows flashing tutorial

• The bootloader firmware for PRO X10 Click to automatically download the firmware

Notice

• System compatibility issues, please use the computer's USB2.0 for burning
• If it still cannot be burned, please use the host machine for burning

1. Burning tool Download link
2. Need to download SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer and STM32 DFU driver
3. Copy the firmware (klipper.bin) compiled in front or the precompiled Katapult firmware to any directory on the computer
4. Use a Type-C data cable to connect the motherboard to the computer, make sure it is already:Enter DFU burning mode
5. In STM32CubeProgrammer, select USB mode, refresh, and connect
   
6. If no error pop-up appears, then the connection is successful.

   If the content shown below appears, it indicates a problem with the computer or software, please use the host machine for burning:Host machine burning tutorial

   
7. Click the download icon on the left and select several options below
   
8. Click the Browse button indicated by the arrow, then select the firmware you need to burn
   
9. Select Start address and enter 0x08000000
   
10. Click Start automatic mode below to start burning the firmware
    
11. The prompt below indicates that the firmware burning is complete
    

Host machine flashing tutorial

1. Install the burning tool

• No need to install the burning tool for the FLY upper computer
• If you need to install, please note: The upper computer needs to be connected to the internet to install normally
• If already installed, no need to install

sudo apt update
sudo apt install dfu-util -y

2. Execute the following command to check if the connection is successful.

lsusb

• If there is no DFU device, please try to re-enter burning mode
• Due to system version issues, other names may be displayed. If 0483:df11 is shown, it indicates that the burning mode has been entered

3. Pull the pre-compiled firmware

• These are all pre-compiled firmwares
• Please note: The upper computer needs to be connected to the internet to install
• The upper computer needs to execute the command below to download the firmware package (if unable to get the file due to network issues on the upper computer, please contact the administrator in the after-sales group)

cd && git clone https://github.com/FengHua741/FLY_Katapult.git

• If the firmware package has already been downloaded, it is recommended to update the firmware package before proceeding with the remaining operations

cd ~/FLY_Katapult && git pull

4. Flash firmware

tip

Only one firmware needs to be flashed.

• Below is the katapult firmware flashing command

  sudo dfu-util -a 0 -d 0483:df11 --dfuse-address 0x08000000 -D ~/FLY_Katapult/BL/ProX10/ProX10_USB_katapult.bin

• Below is the bootloader firmware flashing command

  sudo dfu-util -a 0 -d 0483:df11 --dfuse-address 0x08000000 -D ~/FLY_Katapult/BL/ProX10/ProX10_USB_katapult.bin

5. If the content shown by the arrow in the image below is File downloaded successfully, then the flashing was successful.

   

tip

After flashing, the main board needs to be completely powered off once.
