Connect to WIFI

Install the antenna on C5

• The place indicated by the red arrow is the WIFI antenna interface
• The WIFI antenna interface is ipex1
• Install the antenna on the C5, otherwise it may not be able to connect to the network due to poor signal
  • If there is no M2WE or 2.4G_WiFi module, you need to connect with an Ethernet cable to search for the IP address

Use serial port to connect to the host SSH

• Use the serial port to connect to the host: FLYOS-FAST Serial connection to host SSH

Connecting FLYOS-FAST System to WiFi

1. Enter the command nmtui in SSH, and press the Enter key to display the interface shown in the figure below

2. Select the Activate a connection option and press the Enter key to enter the next-level menu

Operation Instructions for the WiFi Configuration Page

• Please ensure that the keyboard input method is in half-width mode, i.e., English mode.
• The up key ↑ and down key ↓ on the keyboard are used to move the cursor up and down to select menu items.
• The confirm key Enter is used to check the menu or enter a sub-menu.
• The exit key ESC is used to return to the previous menu.

3. If your router WiFi is functioning properly, you will see the WiFi list shown in the figure below. The * following the WiFi name indicates signal strength

tip

• WiFi with Chinese names is not supported!!!
• 2.4G WiFi is supported, but whether 5G WiFi is supported depends on whether the WiFi module you purchased supports 5G WiFi
• M2WE supports 5G WiFi

4. Select the WiFi you need to connect to and press the Enter key to enter the next-level menu

5. Next, the following interface appears. Correctly enter your WiFi password and press the Enter key to connect to WiFi

6. If the password is correct, the symbol * will appear before the corresponding WiFi, indicating successful WiFi connection

7. Then press the Esc key twice to return to the command-line interface

8. In SSH, enter the command below and press the Enter key. Find the IP address in the returned content that is on the same segment as your router to gain access

ip a | grep inet

9. Open a browser and enter the previously queried host computer IP in the search box. Press the Enter key to access the fluidd/mainsail WEB control console

• In the FLYOS-FAST system, you can click the mainsail/fluidd icon in the upper right corner to switch between fluidd/mainsail WEB control consoles in real time!
