Note
  • This page lists the pinout of the FLY-C5 motherboard after flashing Klipper firmware. Pin numbers are based on the motherboard schematic.
  • UART/CS is the driver communication pin: used as UART when using TMC2209, and as chip select CS when using SPI drivers such as TMC5160. The pin is multiplexed for both functions.
  • EN is the enable pin. In Klipper configuration, it is typically active low (with the ! prefix in enable_pin).
  • DIAG is the driver diagnostic signal pin. When using sensorless homing, configure the corresponding diag_pin according to the table below.

Power Off Before Operation

Before starting, completely turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply. Do not plug or unplug wiring harnesses, tidy up interface wiring, or touch terminals while the power is on.

DIAG and Sensorless Homing

The DIAG signals for DRIVER0–4 are independently connected to the main controller. When using sensorless homing, directly configure the diag_pin of the corresponding driver according to the DIAG row in the table above. These DIAG pins do not occupy the standard endstop ports listed above; the standard endstop ports can still be used as mechanical endstops or inputs according to your actual wiring.

SPI Bus

SPI drivers such as the TMC5160 use the motherboard's hardware SPI bus. Simply configure spi_bus: spi1a in the configuration; there is no need to separately configure the MOSI/MISO/SCLK pins:

Supported Thermistor Types

The thermistor ports support NTC thermistors (100K) by default. It is recommended to configure sensor_type as Generic 3950.

K-type thermocouples, PT100, etc., require additional signal conversion chips and cannot be connected directly to the thermistor ports.
