Image Replacement

FLY Screen supports replacing the home screen image and the printing interface image. The image specifications match the built-in resources of the FlyScreen project. After uploading files through the system file management interface in a browser, the corresponding image resources are automatically replaced.

Boot Logo

The current FlyScreen project does not include a boot_logo.JPG boot logo replacement resource. For FLY Screen image replacement, you only need to prepare print.png and print_smail.png.

Windows File Extension Display

Windows may hide file extensions by default, which can cause the file to actually be saved as print.png.png or print_smail.png.png. Before preparing the images, enable file extension display in File Explorer:

Open any folder.
Click View at the top.
Check File name extensions.
When renaming the file, make sure the full file name exactly matches the file name in the table above.

First Interface Image

The file name must be print.png.

Printing Interface Image

The file name must be print_smail.png.

Upload Method

Open Mainsail or Fluidd in a browser.
Open the configuration file or file management page.
Upload the prepared print.png or print_smail.png to that directory.
After the upload is complete, the system automatically replaces the corresponding image resource based on the file name.
Restart the system or refresh FLY Screen to confirm whether the image has taken effect.

File Requirements

The file name, format, and resolution must fully match the requirements in the table above.
It is recommended to keep the image size within the range shown in the table to avoid slow loading caused by oversized images.
If uploading a file with the same name does not take effect, confirm that the browser is not hiding the .flyos-config directory and check whether the file was uploaded to the correct directory.
