  • FLY DFU-AUTO is a single-file software (approximately 26 MB). After downloading, run it directly; no installation is required.
  • If the device is not recognized on first use, click Install Driver within the software to complete the driver installation (administrator privileges are required).

Usage Instructions​

  1. Connect the device to the computer using a Type-C cable and put the device into DFU flashing mode (refer to the corresponding device's firmware flashing documentation for how to enter this mode).
  2. Open FLY DFU-AUTO. The software will automatically detect and list DFU devices. Once the device is successfully recognized, Select Device will display the device name, VID:PID, and serial number. When Driver Status shows green, the driver is ready.

  1. If the driver status shows unavailable, click Install Driver, follow the prompts to complete the installation with administrator privileges, and then reconnect the device.
  2. Click Browse... to select the .bin firmware file to be flashed.
  3. Confirm the flash address (default 0x08000000, with optional 2KB~128KB offset presets) and flashing options (Force Erase, Restart After Flashing, USB Reset).
  4. Click Start Flashing and monitor the flashing progress in the Run Log area below.
  5. To flash multiple devices consecutively, check Auto Flash. After each device is flashed, simply reconnect the next device, and the process will start automatically.

The software version number and compilation time can be viewed via the menu Help → About.

Interface Language​

The software supports both Chinese and English interface languages. The language is automatically selected based on the system language upon first launch. To switch, click the Language menu in the menu bar and select the desired language; it will take effect immediately.

Flashing Options Description​

Force ErasePerforms a mass-erase before flashing; suitable for scenarios requiring a complete chip wipe
Restart After FlashingSends the leave command and disconnects after flashing completes; the device restarts automatically (some devices may prompt a disconnect, which is normal)
USB ResetPerforms a USB reset (-R) after flashing completes; the device re-enumerates
Auto FlashAfter flashing completes, waits for the device to disconnect and reconnect, then automatically starts the next flashing cycle; suitable for flashing multiple devices consecutively
Precautions
  • Firmware files only support .bin format; please do not select files in other formats.
  • Driver installation requires administrator privileges; the software will prompt you to restart with administrator rights.
  • On some computers, the USB port may cause unstable flashing due to driver or signal compatibility issues. It is recommended to try a different USB port for the connection; if changing ports is ineffective, you can connect via an external USB hub.
  • Do not disconnect the USB connection or close the software during flashing to avoid failure.
