Screen Resolution Adjustment Guide

Problem Description

If you find that the display resolution of the FLY-HDMI screen is incorrect (e.g., stretched images, incorrect resolution), please follow the steps in this guide to update the screen configuration file.

Supported Resolutions

The FLY-HDMI screen supports the following resolutions:

  • HDMI-7 inch screen: 1024 × 600
  • HDMI-5 inch screen: 800 × 480

Steps

Step 1: Connect the Screen

  1. Use a Type-C cable to connect the screen to your computer
  2. Open the FLY-LCD-HDMI Configuration Tool
  3. Click the Connect Screen button

Step 2: Select Device

Select your screen from the device list, then click Connect

Step 3: Enter Configuration Interface

Click the Touch Information button

Step 4: Update Configuration File

  1. Click the Update CFG Configuration button

  1. Select the corresponding configuration file based on your screen size:
    • HDMI-7 inch screen: Select 1024x600
    • HDMI-5 inch screen: Select 800x480

Step 5: Start Update

Click the Start Update Configuration button

Step 6: Confirm Update

Click Confirm Update in the pop-up confirmation dialog

Step 7: Restart the Screen

  1. After the update is complete, click the Restart button

  1. Wait for the screen to finish restarting
  2. Reconnect the screen manually

Verify Results

After restarting, check if the screen display is normal:

  • Is the image clear without stretching?
  • Is the resolution as expected?
  • Is the touch function working correctly?

If the issue persists, try reconnecting the Type-C cable or contact technical support.
