Notes

• It is recommended to use the bookworm version for the Raspberry Pi system

• Raspberry Pi 4B/3B Using DSI Interface
• Raspberry Pi 5B Using MIPI Interface

How to Use DSI

• After burning the image, enter /boot/config.txt and add the following command:

dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-7inch

Important

• The DSI and CSI interfaces on Raspberry Pi 5 are now renamed MIPI
• The MIPI interface can directly use a CSI camera or DSI screen through configuration
• Please pay attention to the gold finger orientation

• Raspberry Pi 5 now has two MIPI interfaces. If viewed from the front, you can see markings 1 and 0 on them

• DSI Screen Wiring

  • If using interface 1, configure the screen as below

  dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-7inch,dsi1

  • If using interface 0, configure the screen as below

  dtoverlay=vc4-kms-dsi-7inch,dsi0
