FLY-Pi V3 Usage Notes

Read before operating

Be sure to disconnect the power before performing any wiring work! When flashing firmware, please also follow the guide's instructions.

1. Power Requirements

  • Power via Type-C (recommended for first startup): Use a 5V/2A or above power adapter. Some computer USB ports may not provide sufficient power, which can cause the system's first automatic expansion to fail.
  • Powered via DC power terminal: Supports DC 12V-24V input, suitable for daily work scenarios.
  • For detailed power supply instructions, please refer to Host Power Supply.

2. Storage Configuration

Important

FLY-Pi V3 Not included in factory shipment: no storage devices are included. You must configure at least one of the following storage media:

  • Option 1 (Recommended): Purchase the FLY custom M2WE Module.
  • Option 2: Provide your own Micro SD (TF) card, with a capacity between 16GB to 128GB.

3. Important Warnings

Interface Conflict Warning

It is forbidden to use the TFT screen and SPI accelerometer interface at the same time!

The TFT screen interface (FPC-TFT) shares the same SPI resource set with the SPI/RRF multiplexing interface (ZH1.5-7P) at the hardware level. Connecting both simultaneously will cause abnormal device operation.

M2WE Interface Warning

The onboard M2WE expansion interface uses a FLY proprietary protocol. It is absolutely forbidden to connect any standard or unofficial M.2 device, otherwise it will cause permanent hardware damage to the motherboard.
