FLY-Pi V3 Usage Notes

1. Power Requirements

  • First Boot: Must use a 5V/2A or higher power adapter. Some computer USB ports may not provide sufficient power, which could cause the system's initial automatic expansion to fail.
  • Operating Voltage: The motherboard supports DC 12V-24V input.

2. Storage Configuration

Important

FLY-Pi V3 does not come with any storage device (i.e., it does not include an M2WE module or Micro SD card). You must configure at least one of the following storage media for the device to function properly:

  • Option 1 (Recommended): Purchase the FLY custom M2WE module for faster system response and higher reliability.
  • Option 2: Use your own Micro SD (TF) card with a capacity between 16GB and 128GB.

3. Power Consumption & Interfaces

  • Input Voltage: DC 12V-24V
  • Fan Interface: Provides a constant 5V power output (Note: This interface does not support PWM speed control).
  • Power Loss Protection: The motherboard supports power loss recovery and safe power-off shutdown functions.
    info

This feature needs to be manually configured and enabled in the system; it is disabled by default.

4. Important Warnings

Interface Conflict Warning

Do NOT use the TFT screen and SPI accelerometer interface simultaneously!

  • Conflict Reason: The TFT screen interface (FPC-TFT), SPI accelerometer interface (ZH1.5-7P), and the RRF expansion interface share the same set of SPI resources on the hardware.
  • Consequence: If connected simultaneously, it will cause abnormal screen display and severely incorrect accelerometer data.
  • Solution: Ensure only one of these devices is connected and used at a time.
