Host Computer Beginner Operation Guide

System Burning Preparation

• Card reader
• A TF card with a capacity of no less than 16GB or no more than 128GB, the transmission speed of the TF card must be Class10 or above
• Download the corresponding system image
• Download the required burning tool

• MINI PAD can only burn the system to the TF card and cannot use M2WE

• After the system is burned, the TF card needs to be installed on the MINI PAD ::>

  System Flashing TF Card

  Preparation Work

  • First install the software SDFormatter and Rufus Formatting Tool
  • Extract the system, after extraction the file name has a suffix of .img
  • It is not recommended to use balenaetcher or Raspberry Pi for system flashing
  • Insert the TF card into the reader and plug the reader into the computer's USB interface
  • If the TF card has data please back up, after flashing the system it is not recommended to remove the system card, unless you need to flash it to M2WE before the TF card can be removed

  Formatting the Memory Card

  • Use the SDFormatter.exe software to format the TF card
  • Select the disk you want to format
  
  • Or delete the partition using the built-in Disk Management in WIN, after deleting the partition, just recreate the partition.

  Flashing the System

  1. Open Rufus, select the device, and ensure that the displayed capacity of the selected device matches the capacity of the flashing card inserted into the computer.

     

  2. Select the boot type. By default, select image file.

  3. Choose the image file. Click the select button to the right of the boot type selection, and select the .img file after decompression.

  4. After selecting the image file, the boot type selection will change to the filename of the image file.

     

  5. Click the start button. If a pop-up window appears prompting to clear disk data, click OK.

     

  6. After flashing is complete, the computer will emit a提示 sound, and the progress bar will display as Ready.

     

  7. Do not rush to remove the flashing card after completion.

  8. Open File Explorer and check if there is a U-drive or removable disk named FlyOS-Conf.

     

  9. Open FlyOS-Conf. If the two files shown in the image below exist, it indicates that the flashing was successful.

     

  10. Install the system card onto the motherboard.

Installing the System Card

• After burning the system to the TF card, you need to connect the TF card to the back of the MINI PAD, otherwise the system cannot start

Installing the Antenna

1. Install the antenna

• Please note that the host computer does not support WiFi names in Chinese and does not support 5G WiFi ::>
• The red arrow points to the WiFi antenna interface
• The WiFi antenna port is ipex1
• Please install the antenna, otherwise the weak signal may cause failure to connect to the router

tip

• After completing the installation of the system card, you can proceed to the next step, connecting to the host computer via SSH ::>

2. Power on the host computer.
   Your host computer can now start up!!!
