FLY-Pi Usage Precautions
Read Before Operating
Before any wiring operations, please ensure the printer is turned off and disconnected from the power supply. When flashing firmware, also follow the corresponding guide.
1. Power Requirements
- Type-C Power Supply (Recommended for First Boot): Use a power adapter rated at 5V/2A or higher. Some computer USB ports may not provide sufficient power, which could cause the system's initial automatic expansion to fail.
- DC Terminal Power Supply: Supports DC 12V-24V input.
- For detailed power supply instructions, please refer to Host Power Supply.
2. Storage Configuration
Important
The FLY-Pi does not come with any storage device from the factory (i.e., it does not include the M2WE Module or a Micro SD Card). You must configure at least one of the following storage media for the device to operate properly:
- Option One (Recommended): Purchase the FLY custom M2WE Module for faster system response and higher reliability.
- Option Two: Provide your own Micro SD (TF) Card with a capacity between 16GB and 128GB.
3. Important Warnings
Interface Conflict Warning
Prohibited to use the TFT screen and SPI accelerometer interfaces simultaneously!
- Reason for Conflict: The TFT screen interface (FPC-TFT) and the SPI accelerometer interface (ZH1.5-6P) share the same SPI resources at the hardware level.
- Consequences: Connecting both simultaneously will result in abnormal screen display and severe errors in accelerometer data.
- Solution: Ensure that only one of these devices is connected and used at any given time.
