Purchase and Usage Notes
Important: About Storage
The FLY-Pi does not come with any storage device from the factory. You must prepare at least one of the following storage media yourself for the device to function properly:
- Option 1 (Recommended): Purchase the FLY custom M2WE module (Wi-Fi/eMMC) for faster system response and higher reliability.
- Option 2: Provide your own
Micro SD(TF) card, with a recommended capacity between16GB-128GB.

Important Notes
Interface Conflict Warning
The TFT screen, SPI accelerometer interface, and RRF expansion interface cannot be used simultaneously!
- Hardware Conflict: The above interfaces physically share the same set of SPI resources.
- Consequences: Connecting them simultaneously will result in abnormal screen display and severe accelerometer data errors.
- Solution: Connect and use only one of these interfaces at a time.
M2WE Interface Warning
Proprietary protocol - connecting non-FLY devices is strictly prohibited!
- The onboard M2WE interface uses a FLY proprietary custom protocol, with both physical and electrical specifications being non-standard.
- Only connect the officially provided FLY M2WE module (Wi-Fi / eMMC).
- Strictly prohibited from connecting any standard or third-party M.2 devices, as this will cause permanent hardware damage to the board.
About Wi-Fi Functionality
The FLY-Pi has no onboard Wi-Fi.
For wireless connectivity, please choose:
- Recommended Solution: Use the official FLY M2WE Wi-Fi module.
- Alternative Solution: Use a driver-free universal USB Wi-Fi module, ensuring it is compatible with Linux systems.
