Connect to Host via SSH

- This document is only applicable to FLY host devices
- If you are compiling and flashing firmware, please refer to the network connection tutorial instead of the serial port connection tutorial
- You can connect to the device via serial port or Wi-Fi
- Please prepare MobaXterm_Personal or another SSH terminal tool in advance
- Please ensure that the
SDcard orM2WEhas the correct host system flashed - If the host fails to boot properly, please remove peripherals such as drivers, limit switches, fans, etc.!!!
- Finally, connect to SSH via network for firmware compilation!!
- For firmware compilation instructions, refer to the Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection tutorial
Install System Card
- Ensure the system card has the correct system flashed, otherwise the system will not boot

Power Supply
- Connect the FLY host to your computer using a
USB Type-Ccable - Make sure the
USB Type-Ccable supports data transfer! - After the system boots, the indicator light will flash rapidly!!
- Flashing indicates that the system has successfully started

Connecting to Host Computer SSH via Serial Port
- If the motherboard is properly connected to the computer, you can see the CH340 port by opening the Device Manager

- Open
MobaXtermand set it up as shown below. Select the port previously seen in the Device Manager

- Please note that
Speed(bps)*should be set to115200

- If everything is working properly, you will see the boot screen
- After a short wait, the screen shown below means the system has started

If after waiting a few minutes, the screen appears as shown below without any display, simply press the Enter key several times

Please note that if it is the FAST system, you need to enter a username and password, and the password will not be visible as you type

FlyOS-FAST default username is root, and the default password is mellow

After pressing Enter, the following content will be displayed
tip
- The appearance of the screen below indicates successful login
- The FAST system updated the appearance below in version V1.3.0

- If you need to check the device
IP, ensure that the Ethernet cable is connected or the WIFI is properly connected Connect to WIFI
Connecting to Host Computer SSH via Network IP
- Please log in to the router admin panel to which the host computer is connected, unless you already know the host computer's IP address
- Please ensure that you are aware of the host computer's username and password
- FlyOS-FAST default username is root, and the default password is mellow
- If the motherboard has already booted and is connected to the network, you can use the following method to connect to SSH
- Open MobaXterm and set it up as shown below. Enter the IP address previously checked, which can also be found in the router admin panel

Note: In step 4 here, enter the username of the host computer

- When connecting for the first time, this window will pop up. Click
Acceptto proceed

- When prompted for a password, press Enter after entering the host computer's password
Note: The password entered here will not be visible. Simply press Enter after typing it in
- For the FLY-FAST system, the username is:
root, and the password is:mellow
