Connecting to Host SSH

Power Off Operation

Before starting, completely shut down the printer and disconnect the power supply. Do not plug or unplug wiring, organize interface cable sequences, or touch terminals while powered on.

Danger
  • This documentation only applies to FLY host boards
  • If you are compiling and flashing firmware, please refer to the network connection tutorial instead of the serial connection tutorial
  • You can connect to the device via serial or WiFi
  • Please prepare MobaXterm_Personal or another SSH terminal tool in advance
  • Please confirm that the SD card or M2WE has been flashed with the corresponding host board system
  • If the host board fails to start normally, please remove peripherals such as drivers, limit switches, and fans!!!
  • Finally, please connect to SSH via the network for convenient firmware compilation!!
  • For firmware compilation, please refer to the tutorial on connecting to the host board via WiFi or Ethernet cable

Installing the System Storage Card

  • Ensure the system card has the corresponding system flashed; otherwise, it will not boot

Installing the Antenna

  1. Install the antenna for the M2WE or 2.4G WiFi module
Caution
  • The FLY host board requires the M2WE or a 2.4G WIFI module; otherwise, WiFi cannot be used
  • Please note that the host board does not support WiFi with Chinese names, nor WiFi with combined 2.4G and 5G dual bands
  • The location indicated by the red arrow is the WiFi antenna connector
  • The WiFi antenna connector is ipex1
  • Please install the antenna onto the M2WE; otherwise, poor signal may prevent connection to the router

Power Supply

  • Use a USB Type-C cable to connect the FLY host board to the computer
  • Ensure that the USB Type-C cable supports data transmission!
  • After the system starts, the indicator light will blink rapidly!!
  • Blinking indicates that the system has started

Connecting via SSH

Connecting to Host Machine SSH via Serial Port Using Web Page

  • Connect the host machine to the computer via USB, then click Device Connect below.

  • If successful, USB Serial or a similar device will be displayed.

  • Select the corresponding device, then click Connect.

  • A prompt will appear upon successful connection.

  • FlyOS-FAST default username is root, default password is mellow.

  • Starting from version V1.3.2, the FAST system automatically logs in via serial connection by double-clicking or pressing Enter twice consecutively.

  • The content shown in the image below will appear after pressing Enter.
