SSH Connection to Host Computer

  • This document is only applicable to FLY host computers.
  • If you are compiling or flashing firmware, please refer to the network connection tutorial instead of the serial port connection tutorial.
  • You can connect to the device via serial port or Wi-Fi.
  • Please prepare MobaXterm_Personal or other SSH terminal tools in advance.
  • Ensure that the SD card or M2WE has the corresponding host computer system flashed onto it.
  • If the host computer cannot boot normally, please remove drivers, limit switches, fans, and other peripherals!!!
  • Finally, please connect via network to SSH for easier firmware compilation!!
  • If you need to compile firmware, please refer to the tutorial on connecting the host computer via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.

  • Ensure that the system card has the corresponding system flashed onto it; otherwise, it will not boot.

Installing the Antenna

  1. Install the Wi-Fi antenna.

  • Please note: The host computer does not support Wi-Fi with Chinese names, nor does it support dual-band (2.4G and 5G) combined Wi-Fi.
  • The location indicated by the red arrow is the Wi-Fi antenna interface.
  • The Wi-Fi antenna port is ipex1.
  • Please install the antenna onto the M2WE; otherwise, poor signal may prevent connection to the router.

Power Supply

  • Use a USB Type-C cable to connect the FLY host computer to your computer.
  • Ensure that the USB Type-C cable supports data transfer!
  • After the system boots, the indicator light will flash rapidly!!
  • Flashing indicates that the system has booted.

Connecting via SSH

Connect to Host Computer SSH via Serial Port Using Webpage

  • After connecting the host computer to the computer via USB, click Device Connection below.

  • If normal, USB Serial or other similar devices will be displayed.

  • Select the corresponding device, then click Connect.

  • A prompt will appear upon successful connection.

  • FlyOS-FAST default username is root, default password is mellow.

  • Starting from version V1.3.2, the FAST system uses serial connection and automatically logs in by double-clicking or pressing Enter twice.

  • After pressing Enter, the following content will appear:
