Tip
- Super8 uses a TF card for firmware flashing by default
- Please prepare a TF card with a capacity no larger than
32G - Off-brand memory cards may cause flashing failures; please try to use the recommended memory cards below to update the firmware
- The transfer speed of the TF card should ideally be
class10class orclass10class or higher; it is recommended to use TF cards from brands such as SanDisk
Firmware Flashing Instructions
Selecting the Firmware Type
Please confirm the connection method first
- If not using a CAN tool board: select USB firmware.
- If a CAN tool board is required: select USB-to-CAN Bridge Firmware.
- You can only choose one of the two firmware types; do not flash both at the same time; the Super8 firmware is flashed using a TF card.
| Firmware Type | Applicable Scenario | Advantages | Confirm Before Selecting | Operation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| USB Firmware | When not using a CAN tool board | Stable communication, simple configuration | When not using a CAN tool board, use the USB firmware | Compile USB Firmware |
| USB to CAN Bridge Firmware | When a CAN tool board is required | Can connect multiple CAN devices, reduces USB usage | Select only when a CAN tool board is needed; confirm that CAN wiring, termination resistors, and CAN baud rate configuration are consistent | Compile USB to CAN Bridge Firmware |
