Tip
  • The Micro4 defaults to firmware flashing via Katapult using a USB connection.

Firmware Flashing Instructions

Notes
  • The mainboard firmware must be flashed via Katapult to load Klipper.
  • If you are certain that the mainboard already has Katapult flashed, you do not need to perform the Katapult firmware flashing steps at the end.
  • You can quickly press the reset button twice and check whether an LED on the mainboard blinks. If it does, the mainboard has already entered Katapult firmware mode.

Select Firmware Type

Please confirm the connection method first.
  • If you are not using a CAN toolhead board: select USB firmware.
  • If you need a CAN toolhead board: select USB-to-CAN bridge firmware.
  • Only one of the two firmware types should be selected; do not flash both simultaneously.
