  • Please note that the bootloader has already been pre-flashed, no need to flash again

Enter programming mode

  • There are two ways to enter programming mode
  • First method: With the main board completely powered off, short-circuit BOOT and BOOT1, then connect one end of a data transfer cable to the main board and the other end to your device
  • Second method: After connecting one end of a data transfer cable to the main board and the other end to your device, short-circuit BOOT and BOOT1, then press the RST key, release the RST key, and finally disconnect the BOOT jumper

Flashing firmware

  • Gemini bootloader firmware

  • Set dip switches 3, 4 to the right, connect the lower machine and upper machine via built-in USB

  • Set dip switches 1, 2 to the left, otherwise it will affect the connection between the lower machine and upper machine

Notice
  • USB3.0 may fail to flash, please try to use the computer's USB2.0 for flashing
  • If flashing still fails, please try using a host computer for flashing
  • If the error below occurs, please use a USB hub
  1. Flashing tool Download link
  2. Please download SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer and STM32 DFU driver
  3. Copy the previously compiled firmware klipper.bin, Katapult, or Marlin to any directory on your computer
  4. Connect the motherboard to the computer using a Type-C cable, ensuring it has entered dfu flashing mode
  5. In STM32CubeProgrammer, select USB mode, then refresh and connect
  6. If no error pop-up appears, the connection is successful.
    Warning

    If the content shown in the figure below appears, it indicates a computer or software issue. Please use a host computer for flashing: Host Computer Flashing Tutorial

  7. Click the download icon on the left and check the options below
  8. Click the Browse button as indicated by the arrow, then select the firmware you need to flash
  9. Enter 0x08000000 in the Start address field
    • Please note that if the firmware is in HEX format, skip this step!!
  10. Click Start automatic mode below to begin flashing the firmware
  11. If the prompt shown below appears, the firmware flashing is complete
