warning
- Note that since C8P is a motherboard with integrated upper and lower units, if you are not using the CAN toolboard, please be sure to select
USB firmware!!! - When using the CAN toolboard, please be sure to select
CAN bridge firmware - RS232 does not require any firmware to be burned onto the mainboard, but the corresponding toolboard needs to be burned with RS232 firmware

-
USB Firmware
- Advantages: The most commonly used connection method in 3D printers, communication is reliable and stable
 - Disadvantages: If there are multiple USB devices, it may affect data transmission

 -
USB Bridge Firmware
- Advantages: Can connect multiple devices at the same time and does not occupy the USB port. Only use this firmware when using the CAN toolboard
 - Disadvantages: The first compilation and burning of the firmware is more complicated.
