Backup Configuration Method

Note
  • This tutorial is applicable to FLY-Pi, Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi, and other upper computers.
  • If using EMMC, ensure you can enter the burning mode; otherwise, this tutorial is not applicable.
  • This tutorial operates on the Windows system. Do not format unknown disks or perform other operations!!!

Download Required Software

  • Click to enter and download; the webpage will prompt you for the version suitable for your computer.
  • The software is a portable version, no installation required, just unzip after downloading and use.
  • DG Disk Tool

Start Backup

Important Reminder
  • Do not format.
  • Data cannot be recovered after formatting.
  • If using a TF card, connect it directly to the computer.
  • If using EMMC, manually enter the burning mode.

Connection

  • Connect the system to be backed up to the computer.
  • Open DiskGenius.exe.
  • If recognized correctly, the disk to be backed up will be displayed.

Locate

  • Click on the primary partition on the left, then click on "Browse Files" above, and the files below will appear.

  • Find home and double-click to enter.
  • Generally, there is only one folder inside, usually named after the system username.
  • If there are two or more folders, you need to identify which one contains the system configuration.
  • Continue entering and look for printer_data.

The printer_data folder contains print files, Klipper configuration, Klipper logs, etc., and can be exported entirely.

Export Configuration

Note

The configuration files for the FAST system are located under /usr/share/printer_data.

  • Right-click on printer_data and the following prompt will appear.

  • Select the directory to save, or export directly.
  • Confirm the export.

  • Open the exported file and find the config folder. This contains the system configuration.

The configuration export has been completed. Please note that the moonraker file should not be randomly uploaded to other systems, as system differences may cause Klipper to fail to connect.
